Be a sponsor of the 32nd Annual Giro di San Francisco on Labor Day (September 4, 2006). The Giro Di San Francisco is San Francisco's longest running race and winds around Levi Plaza every Labor Day at high speeds. This year will feature the same exciting course and lots of generous sponsors including Metromint, Lombardi's and Louis Garneau. The Giro is also part of the California Cup and the NCNCA Premier Series. 100% of the product and money received by they types of sponsorship indicated below will go to the racers!





There are two types of sponsorship available:

Category Sponsorship:

Sponsorship of individual race categories being run at the Giro di San Francisco is available. Each individual category sponsorship requires a minimum commitment of $500 in cash or equivalent product donation. The individual race categories at the Giro di San Francisco will include the following:

  • Women?s Category 4
  • Women?s Category 3
  • Women?s Categories 1/2/3
  • Men?s Pro/1/2
  • Men?s Category 3
  • Men?s Category 4/5
  • Men?s Masters 35+ 4/5
  • Men?s Masters 35+ 1/2/3
  • Men?s Masters 45+ and 55+
  • Kid?s race

Category sponsors will receive the following:

1. Sponsorship recognition on the race brochure (for example: ?Category 4 women - presented by Big Swingin? Cycles?) as well as logo placement on the brochure (brochure deadline is August 11, 2006);
2. Sponsorship recognition on Metromint Cycling?s Giro di San Francisco web page;
3. Free space for a tent in the race?s Expo Area located on Union Street at the Start/Finish Line;
4. Space for a banner to be hung by the sponsor on the race barricades;
5. Acknowledgement by the race announcer during the race.


General Sponsorship:

Sponsorship of the race is available at any level of product or cash contribution.

Product or cash donations of $500 or greater receive the following:
1. Logo placement on the race brochure (brochure deadline is August 11, 2006);
2. Sponsorship recognition on Metromint Cycling?s Giro di San Francisco web page;
3. Free space for a tent in the race?s Expo Area located on Union Street at the Start/Finish Line;
4. Space for a banner to be hung by the sponsor on the race barricades;
5. Acknowledgement by the race announcer during the race.

Product or cash donations of less than $500 will receive the following:
1. Logo placement on the race brochure (brochure deadline is August 11, 2006);
2. Sponsorship recognition on Metromint Cycling?s Giro di San Francisco web page;
3. Acknowledgement by the race announcer during the race.
