Metromint Cycling and Metromint's thoughts and prayers are with our teammate MaryAnn Levenson. On Saturday December 23, MaryAnn was struck and run over by an allegedly drunk driver on Sand Hill road while she was doing what she loved - riding her bike. MaryAnn suffered some very serious injuries and we are all grateful to her husband Scott who put together a fabulous team of surgeons for her. For those of us who know MaryAnn, we know she is a fighter and that she is as tough as nails. We have seen it when she was racing and we now know that she will put that strength, will power and determination into her recovery. We love you MaryAnn and will support you every step of the way. We would also like to thank the cyclists and motorists who stopped at the scene to help MaryAnn. Please contact us at and let us know who you are so that we can thank you in person. For those of you who would like to be a part of the cycling community's voice against drunk driving during the criminal proceeding against the driver please e-mail We will do everything in our power to see that this horrible event is not taken lightly by our justice system. MaryAnn, the dots are behind you.
