Our teammate, Brooke Kuhn, is founder and President of our partner, Bay Area Women's Cycling, an organization with the mission of improving the health and well-being of women and girls in the Bay Area through physical fitness. Every year it holds an annual bicycle skills clinic which encourages women and girls to develop skills and be confident riding their bicycles as well as introduces them to concepts of bicycle racing and training. Many women and girls have been brought into the sport through this avenue, including some of our own Metromint Cycling members!

This year's clinic will be held on Sat. & Sun., March 24 and 25 (9:00am to 5:00pm both days; registration and refreshments: 8:00-9:00am), Lucie Stern Community Center, 1305 Middlefield Road, Palo Alto, Fireside Room.

Join us at the annual women?s and girls? road cycling clinic! Improve your bike handling skills, learn how to start road racing, or develop your racing strategy. For beginner and intermediate racers, triathletes, endurance riders, and cycling enthusiasts. Instructors include Nicole Freedman -- former professional cyclist who was a two-time U.S. National Champion, member of the U.S. Olympic Road Team, and founder of the Ford-Basis Women?s Cycling Team.
